8th Ashby Santa Fun Run a huge success!​

 

Everybody had a fantastic day at the 8th annual Ashby Santa Fun Run and Walk on Sunday 4th December. 925 Santa's signed up to take part this year which is a fantastic number and we all thank you for joining us and helping make the morning as fun as it was. 

​

We'll be sorting final accounts and collecting all sponsor money in now and will make a final announcement and cheque presentation to charites in January.

​

We thank all entrants and sponsors for your support again this year and look forward to seeing you again in 2023!

Charities Announced for 2022 Santa Fun Run & Walk

​

Following careful consideration the organising committee have announced the charities to be supported at the 2022 Santa Fun Run & Walk. Continuing the theme of supporting smaller local charities, net proceeds from this years event will be shared between Hospice Hope, Ashby Foodbank and Wishes 4 Kids.

​

All of these charities do fantastic work in the local area and provide support to all ages. We look forward to working closely with them all for this years event. To find out more about the work that these great charities do, please see our charity information page.

Ashby Santa Fun Run Confirmed to Return in 2022!

​

We are delighted to announce the return of the Ashby Santa Fun Run & Walk 2022! We were really pleased with how things went at the return of the event in 2021 following easement of Covid restrictions and can't wait to welcome back lots of Santas again this year! Held as normal over the Ashby Christmas lights switch on weekend, we'll be holding our event on Sunday 4th December.

We'll be looking to open entries for this years event in October so keep an eye out here and on our Facebook page for details of when we're live.

We made a few changes to last years event and these seemed to go down well with last years entrants so we'll be looking to roll these forward again for this year. We now how difficult these times are with seemingly everything going up in price so we're pleased to announce that we are retaining last years reduced price of entry at just £6 for all ages. We'll again be asking people to dress in their best, bright Christmas clothes/fancy dress. This could be a Santa hat, a Christmas jumper or a full Santa or Christmas suit, whatever you choose.....obviously the bigger, brighter and more festive the better!

We do have some Santa suits available in childrens sizes for purchase should you choose to at just £5 each and these will be available as usual at our stall in Market Street on the 3 Saturday's before the event.

All entrants will still receive a medal and there will also be a free chocolate bar for all children who enter.

​

Entries will be £6 per person for all ages.
